This is a large dormitory for monks to live in, built both to replace an existing building that is falling apart, and to match an existing style. For this project, I just did the 3D modelling and renders. The building blueprints were done by somebody else. Also there is a panorama Not much detail was requested for this project, so it’s missing a lot of things, like railings, etc. This project is a complete mess, due to constant changes through construction, but it turned out well, and it was a difficult project, so I’m proud of it. The goal here was to allow a client to walk through their prospective house in VR, and change surface finished on the fly to test out directly how things will look. We also implemented a time of day system, so that the client would be able to see how the sun and shadows behave at … Residential home.
